How the years are counted
Whole years only, with the current year counted only once the date has come round:
years married = this year - wedding year
(minus 1 if this year's date has not arrived yet)
next anniversary = wedding month and day in this year, or next year if that has passed
days until next = next anniversary - todayA couple married on 14 June 2000 is 25 years married from 14 June 2025 - the day itself counts, and on that morning the days-until figure is 0 rather than 365. A future wedding date is refused; use the countdown tool for that direction.
Which gift list this uses
The themes come from the widely reprinted American list, where a modern column was added to the older traditional one in the 1930s. They disagree more than most people expect:

Only eleven years carry a theme here: 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70. So the milestone shown after year 30 is the 40th, not a 35th, and years 2 through 4 have none at all. Other national lists fill those gaps differently, and none of them is authoritative - they are retail conventions, not tradition.

What is the 25th wedding anniversary gift?
Silver on both the traditional and the modern list - the two agree at 25, 40, 50, 60 and 70, and part company almost everywhere else.
Is the 10th anniversary tin or diamond?
Tin or aluminium traditionally, diamond jewellery on the modern list. The modern column was drawn up by a jewellers' trade association, which is roughly why the gap between the two is that wide.
Why is there no 35th anniversary milestone?
This page's list skips from 30 to 40, so a couple at 32 years is shown the 40th as their next milestone. Elsewhere the 35th is usually given as coral, or jade on the modern list.
