US Navy
The US Navy method (Hodgdon & Beckett, 1984) estimates body fat percentage from neck, waist and — for women — hip circumference relative to height. It is a widely-published field estimate, not a clinical measurement, and results can differ from DEXA or hydrostatic testing by several percentage points.
