Two addresses per link, and only one works today

Shortening mints a seven-character code from digits and mixed-case letters - 62 to the power of 7, about 3.5 trillion combinations, so codes are never reused or guessable in practice. Each row then shows the code twice:

s.simplemoney.online/<code> the short form, not yet live
<api host>/go/<code> "Test it now" - the working redirect

Only the second one resolves at the moment, because the short subdomain has not been provisioned. The Copy button gives you the short form, so paste it somewhere and check it before you print it on anything.

What is recorded, and what is not

Deleting takes effect at once - the code stops resolving and anyone following an old copy gets "No such short link". There is no edit either, so a typo in the long URL means creating a replacement.

Frequently asked questions

Does the click count show unique visitors?

No. It is a plain tally of redirects, so one person opening the link five times adds five. Nothing distinguishing a visitor is stored, which also means the count cannot be broken down by source or date later.

Do short links here expire?

No. A code keeps resolving until you delete it. There is no expiry date and no inactivity sweep, so an old link in a printed leaflet carries on working.

Why does the short URL I copied not open?

The s.simplemoney.online domain is not switched on yet, so the copied form will not resolve. Use the "Test it now" address underneath it, which points at the API and redirects properly.
