Base32 (RFC 4648, with or without padding) and Base58 (Bitcoin alphabet) — encode text or hex bytes, or decode back. Both implemented in plain JS, no external library.

Alphabet: A–Z 2–7. Used by TOTP secrets, DNSSEC, and other places that need case-insensitive, human-typeable text.

Alphabet excludes 0 O I l to avoid visual ambiguity — used by Bitcoin addresses, IPFS hashes, and similar.
